Now, I played mostly as a scav because in my experience the 20 min cooldown goes by pretty fast when you sell and fix your inventory etc, so I played many scav runs back to back. Im guessing but I think I have probably played around 15 scav runs give or take, and out of those 15 I have only died 3 - 4 times which felt like a success to me.

As you can see, Scav Runs can be pretty useful, quick, and super fun. They allow you to play just for fun and get some extra rewards from doing it, mess around with the game, or just try some different gameplay. Some players use them to make some quick money, others just want to make PMCs' lives a little harder.

SCAV and PMC differ greatly. The most important information - your main character belongs to PMC. This means that all equipment (weapons, armor, or medicine) belongs to this character. The only way to use items that were purchased or obtained during raids is to play as PMC. This way you can prepare for a match by choosing the right equipment.
