Nov 17, 2016 · I have traded for a WASR, that I should receive in about 4 days. From the photo it appears to have a barrel nut. My question, is the barrel threaded under the nut or is it likely that the threads were milled off? From the picture it looks like it may be 1983 model. The markins read: GP/WASR-10/63.

Oh Shoot. My two WASR 10s' are paper plate accurate up to 200 yards with 4x scope, torso accurate to that distance with irons (200 is as far as I get to test). Would think 10/63 would be about same unless rifling is quite worn. A lot of the lack of pinpoint accuracy is due to just the cheap Russian steel ammo.
