The Gigaspire produces a unified primary 2.4G & 5G SSID. This allows for Band Steering on devices with a 2.4G and 5G radio. You can create a dedicated 2.4G network for your devices needing one by doing so with a Secondary SSID. Here you can specify the radio being used for the SSID and limit it to 2.4G only.
Only the router can be controlled. The ISP has the same control you do over the primary and guest SSIDs. You can change the channel, but it will (should) change on both the router and satellite.
