Madden 24 stuck on new items.

I'm trying to play Madden 24 on a PC in the EA app, and when I try to play the game it loads the splash screen (anticheat I think- with a picture of Josh Allen on it), then the splash screen loads and goes away then nothing happens. On the app it says i'm still playing the game even though the game doesn't come up on the screen. After I enabled secure boot the game launched. I go to superstar mode and create a qb superstar. Then I launch the league. I get the settings/configuration menu and advance from there. The screen is now just stuck showing the background. 5, 10 and 20 minutes I have let it sit, no change.
