May 11, 2020 · Water in BOTH footwells, all of the sudden. I spent Mother's day removing the front and middle row of seat so that I could pull the carpet (and all the damn foam padding attached) out to let it drain and air dry. I vacuumed over 3 gallons of free standing water from the passenger AND driver side floors. The leak was more substantial than I thought. The entire passenger side floor was soaked and when I squeezed the padding water dripped out from it. So I took my car to the dealership today. The dealer said it would be at least 2 days before it could be done. (They had another water leak in front of me, but not a mustang.)The case is located on the passenger side next to the firewall. The evaporator sweats because it is cooler than the outside air. Take a glass of ice water outside and watch it drip. The hose is black about 1/2 diameter usually they stick out about 2 or 3 inches.
