When crafting a single item you don't have on autocraft it can feel rather cumbersome. That being said, the autocrafting and automation the mod gives you far outweighs the clunkiness of this.I am having trouble with Refined Storage autocrafting a couple of Mekanism recipes for machines. No other blocks can be in front of the Constructor (except fluids) and it should be possible for the block to be placed (for example: saplings need dirt). I think the reason (just a wild ass guess really) is that it actually transfers the items to the crafter with that recipe in it, so that it's not in the system for the next craft. What I usually do for stuff like this is to use an RFTools crafter, and stick a storage bus on it. Or don't use coal-furnaces for a single glass, thats the even better idea as the burntime starts even for a single piece of glass. And to explain why it uses 1 coal for 1 glass: You set up the recipe this way. It's not the mods fault you said: 1Sand+1coal=1glass. Of course it will supply the furnace with 32 coal for 32sand. Stick an exporter on your desired storage, add the item you want it to fill up with to the white list, and give it a crafting upgrade. It will keep crafting so long as there's room in that external storage. You can "remember" the ingredients in RFTools Crafter. The solution. Use the Network Transmitter and Network Receiver.
