I have eight $2.00 bills that were acquired in 1976. They have never been circulated. They were have a postage stamp on them which was supposed to enhance value when i bought them. I am attaching a picture of one of them. The serial numbers are in order. Please let me know if they are worth more than face value. Hello. I am new to collecting and have been reading about getting certain coins/bills graded. I have also read $2 bills are mostly face value. I have these three and was wondering should I have them graded. The serial numbers are sort of low and in order, they end with a *, two of the notes are off center in the front, and they are crisp 1976.1953 2 Dollar Bill. The 1953 two dollar legal tender note is unique looking because it has a red seal. But just because it's a nice-looking old note with a different seal color doesn't make it valuable. Many of them were printed so the value isn't as high as other collectible paper money. Over 79 million standard 1953 two dollar notes were printed.
